Heartland Pat killed them tonight out at the airport. He said waves were building with a wind shift, but they ran hard. He's already done!
Still running just fine!

Was out at the airport with my 12 year old son, first spot we tried only got a few. Moved to another spot and pulled 1 gallon, 2 gallons, 3 gallons. Then pulled a 5 gallon and dropped them off for dominodaves. If you aren't getting them keep moving until you find the pockets of them. Unbelievably they are still coming in. Good luck to anyone still going after them.

TAXI Tony - what time did you hit the water? It sounds like they ran strong early. - not sure with the dip nets on the beach... netmaster said he was standing 5 ft from shore,

By the time i got into the water it was about 1 We were back to the car and loaded up by 11:30. Most of the females were spawned out. I didn't see anyone else in the water by us, just a few people hanging out on the beach.

Is that too late for me to go after smelt this time. From st paul is that worth enough to give it a try. Please any suggestion.

I'm out at Lester but I'm at the mouth...should i be looking farther upstream? Or being patient at the mouth...only rigged with a dip net so I think this is where I'm staying
