With 30 mile an hour winds out of the north east the water temp wont mater at this point. Water will churn and mix what little warm water there was with the colder water below so warming will still take a wile. Just hope that all the ice left in the lake isnt much so we dont end up with a repeat of the last 2 years with mountains of ice locking in the beach.

CAN SOMEONE IN DULUTH CHECK WITH LOCAL LAW TO SEE IF SMELTING IS GONNA BE BAN. ALOT OF ASIANS LIKE TO GATHER UP THERE We really don't need this kinda crap in this forum. If you just keep your 6ft away from everyone you'll be fine. And really, if anyone is that scared of contracting the virus then stay home. I believe the word for now is that all fishing is still open to the public so I'm assuming that includes smelting but there's still a few more weeks to go. Can't wait to go out and have some fun after weeks of hunkering down.
