going to spend some money, just want to get the right one, what would you get and why?
Thanks,

I JUST received my 25' with pocket, yesterday, from Duluth net. After a conversation with the gentleman there, he helped steer me to the untreated. I take good care of things, and don't plan on leaving it out exposed to the sun. It's used only a handful of times each spring, then hung in shed to dry before putting it away. Another thing, which I may add, is I was also told by Duluth Net, the treated net may pull slightly harder, because of the treatment applied. My smelting partners are my wife and 2 daughters, so anything to help the ladies!!! They also make a mono net this year. He told me they cut through the water like a hot knife thru butter. He did say that it won't be nearly as durable as the nylon net. That being said, I want my investment to last as long as possible, another reason I went with untreated with the bag.
The customer service at Duluth Net is awesome!!! There to answer any questions one may have!! I found the cheapest way to purchase it was by phone. Since I live in WI, no sales tax if shipped here, AND free shipping with the code SMELT!.
Can't wait to get out there with it and try it out!! Last year I was out-fished 50:1 by the 2 guys next to me using these nets, while we used the straight 25' net made by frabil!!!
Good luck, I'm sure you cant go wrong with any net you choose from these guys!!
Mike

Just ordered a 25'er today (with pocket). I have to chime in on paison10's comment regarding the customer service @ Duluth Net. Brian (not sure on the spelling) was there to work with me on the phone and talk me through the options for the fishing style and locations the seine will be used for (lake vs. river). I had some issues with my computer ordering and he was there to walk me through it and make it right all the way. I am completely impressed and satisfied with their service. I also cannot wait for the "run". I am a throwback from the Lake Michigan days when pallet and tire fires were common for warmth. We have come a long way since. I hear it's customary to take a chomp out of the first one. Can I put a little sriracha on it first?
